HATL has partnered with Bridge of Hearts since 2022 to care for homeless and impoverished children in the Lake Norman region. These children frequently lack even the most basic hygiene essentials needed to attend school. Bridge of Hearts reaches 700 children in over 50 schools by celebrating each of their birthdays.  Beyond birthdays, Bridge of Hearts also provides free of charge hygiene kits, healthy snacks and comfort items to students.  Essential nursery items and books are available to support the many homeless teen mothers in the region.
