WHAT IS
THE CIRCLE OF HOPE?

Individual impact is multiplied when we give as a community...
Come be a part of The Circle!

The Circle of Hope (COH) is the community of donors, volunteers, charity partners, and business sponsors that come together to fulfill Hope at the Lake's (HATL) mission of funding local charities’ immediate financial needs. HATL's greatest impact to our charity partners is always in our collective financial gifts.  The COH was created to go beyond critical financial support and to create community. We believe that community helps us grow individually which translates into a collectively stronger ability to make a difference.

Your financial contribution automatically makes you a Circle of Hope partner. You will be invited to attend our quarterly COH cocktail receptions where we hear from 2-4 of our charity partners. They provide transparency and acknowledgement of exactly how HATL grant money is being used.  Circle of Hope receptions help to cultivate friendships between fellow donors, business sponsors and charity partners.  We have seen time after time that this leads to greater results.

COH partners often become more invested on different levels with these connections. They value the friendships formed through attendance at our events and feeling part of a community of like-minded people.

WHY PARTNER WITH
THE CIRCLE OF HOPE

rather than give directly to a charity?

Hope at the Lake was founded on connection–with over 20 years of honoring our mission of “funding local charities' immediate financial needs”we have raised over 2 million dollars to support local charities.  When you give through Circle of Hope partnership, your impact is amplified. At least ninety-five percent of every dollar we raise goes directly to local charities.

A charity becomes a charity partner only after our board develops a robust understanding of how they manage their operations and finances through our grant application process.  We are connecting with local charities continuously throughout the year by attending their events, touring their facilities, hosting them at our events and forming lasting relationships with them. Once a charity completes our grant application successfully, they become a charity partner and are able to request immediate funding as needed.  We regularly review our charity partners’ operations ensuring they continue to align with our grant requirements.

We take pride in putting the FUN in fundraising by creating fundraising events that are also social events for our partners to connect with each other, forming friendships and deeper commitments that increase our collective ability to give back. These events allow us to keep a reserve of financial resources so we can fund immediate needs as they arise.

Hope at the Lake wants both donors and charities to flourish by our partnership. We are a community! All of us contribute financially, beyond that we provide community through social events, opportunities to work along-side the ‘boots on the ground’ through volunteering at partner charities, and finally serving positions on the board and various committees. Simply put, HATL does the legwork to ensure your financial contributions go to worthy charities while providing opportunity beyond financial support through social events and volunteering for those that seek the lasting impact of community.

Every effort matters! However you choose to participate, you belong in The Circle of Hope, where generosity comes full circle and hope grows!

TOGETHER

we make a bigger difference.
