COOL KIDS CLUBHOUSE opened in Huntersville in 2019 as a place to support pediatric oncology patients and their families. When a child is diagnosed with cancer, their world—and the world of their family—changes in an instant. HATL has granted funds to help support their goal of improving their quality of life,  reduce the social isolation, sadness and academic loss one experiences with a cancer diagnosis. The clubhouse hosts a variety of FREE programs that provide the much needed emotional support to these children and their families. HATL grants have helped hundreds of children on the waiting list step into this supportive community.  It is our HOPE that through this partnership that LKN area children battling cancer feel the love of their community and know they are not alone in their fight for a brighter tomorrow.
