The annual Hope at the Lake Foundation Golf Scramble, proudly sponsored by Race City Marine and Curtiss-Wright, shines a spotlight on our nation’s Veterans. Each year, we are honored to welcome distinguished guests—including high-ranking officers and decorated service members, such as former Black Hawk helicopter pilots.

To show our appreciation, veteran participants enjoy complimentary golf and a special recognition dinner the evening before the scramble. On tournament day, veterans join teams of golfers who have purchased foursomes and are treated to a delicious breakfast and post-scramble meal. A highlight of the event is the incredible “Fast Eddie”, World Long Drive Champion, who never fails to impress with his powerful swings, motivational story, and engaging pre-event clinic.

Be sure to check out the stunning boats on display from Race City Marine—and if you’re lucky, you might even be greeted on the course by some of our spirited board members offering a refreshing jello shot!
