Richard’s Coffee Shop is a unique stop in downtown Mooresville.  Wander in on a Saturday and you will find veterans socializing over coffee and listening to the many veteran's playing musical instruments. At the front of the coffee shop browse their extensive museum.  They honor every new veteran that enters in with the ringing of a bell, announcing their name, branch of the Armed Services and rank.  Each Saturday morning they hold their weekly meetings to discuss individual veteran’s needs and how they can help.  HATL board members stop by from time to time to converse with them.  Richard’s coffee shop has been a charity partner of HATL since 2023 and was a charity recipient of our 2025 HATL golf scramble.
